Siamese Twins Productions' mission is to create bold, female-driven stories that explore consciousness, identity, and the complexities of the human experience — inviting audiences to question, feel deeply, and embrace transformation.
Karola and Jul both grew up in Germany. They have dual citizenship and live in Los Angeles. For the past seven years, they have collaborated on writing and producing TV shows and films, focusing on domestic and international projects.

Chrysalis isa female-driven psychological thriller in the vein of Black Swan and Gone Girl, exploring grief, trauma, loss of identity, and erotic obsession, set in a world rich with symbolism and magical realism. At its core, it’s about the process of transformation.
The film follows a woman unraveling in the aftermath of a stillbirth as she retreats with her husband to an isolated countryside home in an attempt to repair their relationship. As her grief begins to manifest through increasingly disturbing visions and encounters, her reality fractures, pulling her into a psychological transformation she cannot understand or control.
